Chocolate Bar, definitely the best cupcakes. Vanilla, Chocolate, with yummy frosting. they even have mini cupcakes. Would be cool if they added more flavors though.

cupcakes cupcakes.. huge fad in the states, and after 4 years catching up to kuwait.. alot of people have been making cupcakes for a while and there are some amazing ones available already, best ones zahra cafe, then sugar and spice, then chocolate bar.. and then some individual home bakers.. its fine that we have hardly any originality in kuwait, and all we do is follow fads.. the japanese places.. the burger places.. the saj places.. the dessert shops.. and now its cupcakes… as long as they taste good and aren’t so sickly sweet.. its fine.. there are different tastes and we have to appeal to everyone..

but the one thing that i have to say.. is that if you are going to follow a trend.. please dont think of your audience as idiots… do not copy phrases from larger more successful chains.. i wont mention names.. wont mention point fingers.. please check out sprinklescupcakes.com home page.. sound familiar?

hi guys, i have just visited Cookies n’ cream and the cheesecake were amawzing. i have tried meme’s favorite it is peanut butter brownies and i have tried caramelo which is caramel brownies and i have tasted some cookies i really like Abby’s Favorite it is a chocolate cookie filled with Peanut butter chips…yumy. also i tried Nutella cheesecak and Moody which is molten cake and you can have chocolate or caramel or raspberry i choose caramel. their prices were resonable for the taste. check it out guys. :)

I was waiting to read Mark’s review about Little Treats cupcakes as well as the others who tried them and posted their findings…and finally truth avail…Mr. US Baker, you have cupcakes your way in US and we have ours here in Kuwait. So what home bakery have to do with this!!! is it sinful or bad.. are you trying to say something here? all creative ideas start from home by experimenting tasting and then mastering…I assume this is the case with all over the world small businesses….you do agree .
Whoever tried Little Treats should whole heartedly post his remarks to the owner and surely the owner will be more than glad to consider this in your order….
To Little Treats (small business home bakery)who mixes, bakes and decorates these cupcakes good luck and keep the fun going…and carry on delighting our taste buds entertaining us with colors and imaginations to us and to our little kids….and keep up your lively innovations adding to the world of gastronomy

Ted,

I guess you did not read the comment above yours. After all, it is a customer taste and not a master’s chef taste. People buy food on what they believe what tastes good and not what a master chef tells them to eat. Obviously, those people have tried both and gave thier honest opinion as much as you did.

I agree with D, juju’s is a cup-plastics and neither cakes nor muffins, they simple do not represent any cup cake that I have tried in the USA. Most of the people in here lived in the USA for a while in too many different states and I can garantee you, we never had a cupcake that tastes as dull as juju’s.

The only point I agree with you is in the decoration part as the frosting is in fact a bit sweetie. In both cases they both are too expensive and I give the credit for Little Treats on the effort and sweat for designing each cup cake and the softness on the product.

I’m a baker from the USA visiting friends in Kuwait, & I was surprised to see cupcakes here, so I went on a mission to find my favorite.
And out of all the places I tried it came down to 2 that were most like I bake back home, Little Treats, & Juju’s both are small bakeries and produce cupcakes that you will find in any bakery in the USA
Little Treats (home bakery) although nice & colorful, they only had 2 flavors and the frosting was very sweet, overall they were bit like cakes from Betty Crocker.
Juju’s (alfanar) on the other hand were more like home made, with a wider variety but they need to be more adventurous with the frosting, so my vote is for Juju’s for a more authentic home baked taste.
