   I don’t remember the Lulu Supermarket but I remember a time where there used to be a battery factory and a soap factory at that same spot.

   Mark, the big boy coming to town isnt Lulu, its Carrefour, also opening in AlRai, but in the other mall on 5th ring road, the biggest one in Kuwait, called the avenues!

   If u have time, drive into Rai towards the new mall, u will be shocked!! Its HUUGE! Also, its being positioned somewhere in between the Marina Mall / Al-Raya in terms of luxury.

   Yeah i know avenues, I believe its being built by Mabanee cuz when they were our clients like 3 years ago they had just signed the contract to build the mall there. supposed to have the largest movie theaters in kuwait also.

   You guys STILL haven’t gotten a Carrefour? Tsk tsk…We’ve got tons in the UAE ;o)

   Also, mabrook on finally getting your first Dunkin’ Donuts (which has been open in the UAE since..well…the last century! :P)

   Now back to “writing” my paper…

    we had dunkin donuts before the invasion .. but it closed down and now it reopened.

    Gale, the Kuwait Times reported today that Carrefour will open on Tuesday, March 22 at The Avenues. Finally, something besides the Sultan Center and Lulu!
