Microsoft Windows doesn’t go down on its own. Its an operating system, it’s either a hardware error, and you know, you install Windows over hardware(and as usual, keeping with the traditional attitude towards computers and IT in general), Middle East customers go for the cheapest. I wonder why it’s cheap, hmmmm it’s something to think about. And I don’t need to remind you of the 68% piracy rate which is far below estimates, hmmmmmmmmm and what the applications installed on the OS, hmmmmmmm.
Please stop attacking Windows, I had a Mac and I have seen crashes with it toooooo.

I have to agree with Fadibou .. the only MS system that used to crash was WindowsME. I usually use the ones based on NT, (NT, W2K, XP) and they have all been rock solid. Any crashes are usually driver/harware issues. All other crashes I would attribute to bad coding in the software I am running. And XP seems to do a good job in isolating the problem. My PC has only been restarted when I install new drivers/hardeware, moving, power failure.

I am going to say one thing about Windows: “Legacy Code”.

Flame wars anyone? I’d love to retort but I don’t know where to start…
Obligatory pro linux remark: It’s nicer to you and your hardware.

Microsoft could make its own hardware, and it would be crash proof, and it would rule. But suddenly people would start monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly. Actually the first people to complain would be MAC owners. monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly monopoly.

I was writing this reply, but just said fuck it, not worth the flame war. But Fadi if you ever go visit Redmond/Seattle tell me I can give you some cool places to visit.
