Marina FM Logo
Is THIS the Marina FM logo? There was a huge pitch for it by like every agency in Kuwait plus one from Bahrain. I sent in 3 logos and 2 of them made the final cut but in the end another agency won, I think it was Memec. But I was expecting the winning logo to be something really cool, this one is just sad (no offence to the designer). [Link]

hummmm?…no comment…i dont want say anything, i can see that Kuwait is the hub for creativity worldwide..this client has a vision and direction and balls to launch such an excution of a brand, by communicating the core values of the radio station’s dire music that would come out of the speakers.

LOL…It’s so Arab-wanting-to-look-”funky/hip/cool”. Even worse, it looks like a 12-yr-old’s interpretation of “funky/hip/cool”. I think I used to have the font they used for “Marina”, and I think I actually used it for an English project in the 7th grade. That was before I realized how ugly it was. Yech.
And don’t get me started on that pseudo-futuristic -crap look they’re going for.

Yeah .. that thing is hideous. Its up there with the BKME logo.

I don’t think I am allowed to by my agency to share the logos with any outsider. I will ask though..

I would like to thank you for this cool work and I think now we in Kuwait we have the right mission and vision for the futuer of the country we do have a lot of educted Kuwaitis that they would like to do a lot I hope they will fined the right team and the right director,
Music is very important in our life,which Marina FM doing,making life easy, I have an idea which I would like to share with by educt people by giving them some nice tips, about health saftey & environment, I could send you some tips that you can share it with others it cost you nothing, my back ground is envionment and it my area that I can help you with I am Kuwait and would like to do something for my country, please let me know if you need my help ,
