Moleskines in Kuwait

Moleskine Kuwait

Q80-Chill Girl just posted on her blog that she spotted a Moleskine stand at The Sultan Center. Judging by her picture above it looks like they have the city guides, hopefully they also have the plain pocket books and other kinds of Moleskines. Its great someone finally thought about bringing them to Kuwait but whats surprising is a supermarket brought them in instead of say a bookshop or an office supply store. Good move Sultan Center, now if only they can get a larger collection of salami… [Link]

I really like Moleskines, do they sell the notebook ones, the ones that are bigger?

Great news…. I spent the past month looking for a new one before giving up and buying mine from Amazon. You’re right Mark – I looked at the stationery shops (Jareer/Mogahwi) and didn’t think to check at Sultan Centre.

Yeah I’m surprised they’re at Sultan… my ex boss used to ask for them whenever I went on vacation, until I started using them myself

I must say I am confused… do people actually use paper anymore, I thought everyone was digital nowadays?

Jim Sefton, believe it or not we still do and i’m one of them!
I went back to papers after my incidence with my laptop and 2 cell phones when they suddenly decided to die and i lost my important notes, contact numbers and work!
    “Old is gold”

P.s: I take a very good care of my gadgets but as u know everything comes to an end at some point.

Pure: That’s cool, just speaking from personal experience, that’s all :o) I think in recent years I have actually forgotten how to write with a pen, never had the need to ;o)

My point of view would be my work is encrypted and backed up to 2 locations. If my laptop got stolen then I have a backup. If it was written down and that got stolen then I would have no backup (but I guess one of those is less likely to be stolen than a laptop). Just another point of view I guess.

Spot on! The Sultan Center in Salmiya has a really neat stand just for moleskines. As you go up the escalator it’s bang in front of you. I made a reference to your post on my blog. Many thanks for pointing it out first. Its absurdly costly, but mind blowingly pretty :). Cheers
