  4. 4. SaREe3 | January 31st, 2007 at 5:20 pm

i try the e-go the speed is v.good it is faster than the HSDPA for wataniya but the canelation fees its too much kd 55 .

Wow … finally a good AD … they actually tried laying out a script and i think they did an ok job with it … it’s an improvement over all of MTC’s other ADs except the one with those two guys in Europe .. that was hillarious

    chick is cute though :D

  10. 10. Thamer | January 31st, 2007 at 6:58 pm

The ad went on forever and is really unrelated to internet connections.

  11. 11. Tiger | January 31st, 2007 at 7:05 pm

r u serious? it looks more like a bank TVC

  12. 12. shopa | January 31st, 2007 at 7:09 pm

    I think it’s stupid

  13. 13. Frankom | January 31st, 2007 at 7:36 pm

    :: Okay, Details on e-GO

    1- Device = KD60 + KD20 (unlimited)
    2- Device = KD60 + KD16 (5G/month)

KD55 if cancelation before one year

If you sign for the first one your not able to downgrade at anytime unless the u complete one year.

But i think your able to upgrade if you go for the 2nd option.

So far IT IS FAST and i like it.

    Overall good AD.

The service seems nice, but still can’t decide whether to go with :
    - Wataniya (which is higher priced but I expect better service)
    or
    - MTC (better price and smaller device, but unreliable service probably?)

This ad couldn’t have sucked more ass, uninformative, completely offtopic, wrong target, senseless script with extra Gouda trying to hit an emotional spot TO SELL EXPENSIVE CRIPPLE INTERNET SERVICE.

Miserable failure, MTSuck: Wataniya’s plagiarized ad campaign was better.

i talked to the guy at marina mall, he said the connection speed is 3.6 megabits and the download is 1.4 -> i think. but then i tried it with his laptop and the download speed was 22kbps.. so i asked him how come, he was like ‘i don’t know, it’s the first time i tried it’..
i don’t know if thats a good answer

I don’t care what some of the guys think…this is by far the best MTC ad I have seen so far…considering how lame their ads used to be. It might not look that good but for MTC…it’s a big improvement from their infamous “Shofne o Ashofek” ads.

mac compatible my ass. IT DOES NOT WORK ON MACS. at least not yet.

  19. 19. Mark | January 31st, 2007 at 11:55 pm

fofo did you download and install the mac software?

  20. 20. fofo | February 1st, 2007 at 12:01 am

yes i have. so much for “end of complexity’.
wataniya on the other hands was seamless.

  21. 21. holla | February 1st, 2007 at 12:49 am

lol the ad is shit and just plain fucking wrong. i like the usual funny MTC ads better. also that cute chick is in a million arabi ads.

  22. 22. Marzouq | February 1st, 2007 at 12:57 am

the ad made no sense! it had nothing to do with being connected! And it could have been done ALOT better!

  23. 23. jane | February 1st, 2007 at 2:09 am

add sucks , typical Arabic style , has nothing to do with the products , they think they are trying to copy American style adds , thing is in America they stooped doing adds like this for products in the mid 90’s , adds like these are done now for public service announcements , voice over is the worst thing in it.

mark i hope you had nothing to do with it ,i haven’t seen you’re work before but i hope it isn’t this

  24. 24. M | February 1st, 2007 at 4:32 am

By Kuwait standards and comparing it on a global scale the ad is quite good. The production quality and acting isn’t great, but thats a product of Kuwait. Aside from that excellent concept and the execution was good.

  25. 25. Entrepreneur | February 1st, 2007 at 4:30 pm

    Shit advert

Just because the picture quality is high doesnt mean an advert is good

  26. 26. Aboud | February 1st, 2007 at 10:44 pm

The ad is runing on the Pixman @ Marina mall and you can even try the service on the pixman, its f****ing cool how they transformed the Pixman into a mobile internet kiosk

  27. 27. Walid | February 2nd, 2007 at 5:10 pm

Any idea if you can use Skype with this system ?. I tried it with Wataniah and did not work.

  28. 28. Aboud | February 2nd, 2007 at 7:35 pm

i’ll give it a go today and let u know

  29. 29. zaydoun | February 3rd, 2007 at 12:13 pm

I was hoping for a more lively ad… this one was shot nicely but it was almost too sad

  30. 30. Gilgamesh | February 4th, 2007 at 10:51 am

    fofo

You just need to disable the pin code and it’ll work perfectly.

The speed is up to 1.8 Mbps and the device is future proof, you can upgrade it to 7.2 once the network supports that speed.

    Regards
    Gilgamesh

e-go sucks, its so bad that some time I wana broke my laptop cuz offfff it … for me e-go it’s little faster than the dialup .. !!

  32. 32. Lixrael | October 3rd, 2007 at 6:46 pm

Anyone interested in buying the e-go for 30 KD?

I had to pay 182 KD for one month use and damn i hate the guts of it now.

I am offering MTC e-go package, but of course without the line (I already canceled that).

Feel free to send me an email if you are interested.
