My Endoscopy
I just had my endoscopy procedure. My appointment was at 7PM at the International Clinic. At 7:20 I finally go in and got prepared for the procedure. By 7:45PM the doctor was still not there and I had been waiting on the bed with a needle in my arm and I was getting fed up. I told the nurse if in 5 minutes the doctor doesn’t come remove the needle and other stuff connected to me cuz I wanted to leave. Its not like its an exciting procedure that I really want to get done and I can go do it anywhere else. Finally doctor came in and I don’t remember much after that. I ended up going to sleep and waking up a short while later with Nataly and a friend next to me. I was told the procedure didn’t work because the salad I had for lunch was blocking the way. Now I have to go back tomorrow and do the procedure again.

Ma tshoof shar Mark, hope procedure goes well next time. Didn’t they tell you not to eat anything after midnight before the procedure? I thought such procedures requires fasting.
Yeah they told me to have light breakfast and lunch and not to ear anything after 3 but tomorrow no lunch even.
Thinking about it though it was pretty cool, I fell asleep and woke up when everything was done. Should be like that with the dentist or on long distance flights!
Dude, it’s really cool sometimes you wake up high and say stupid stuff. I know I did once, and I can still remember the laughter around me.

yeah you wake up kind of tipsy. I actually remember asking the nurse if i can take some of this stuff home with me hehe

the international clinic , if u go 30 minutes before ur appointment or 30 m after, u have to wait !!

all doctors in private clinics(Patient=Money) stay at home beside the phone watching tv eating popcorn..when a patient visit the clinic the nurse calls come come…hunt hunt

I did it 3 times, its cool , at Al Salam Hospital Dr.Salem Al Shmre , He’s awsome and waaaaaay professional, I just adore this guy ! he’s a life safe, I did it first at the USA cuz i went tired and couldnt sleep or eat from my stomach pain untill they took to th ER and had urgent endoscope and fegured out that I got 3 ulcers and a GERD condetion, then i did it twice in kuwait when I went back to my bad eating habbits and my condetion went worse, but now am never better after the last medication and endoscope with Dr.Salem ,

I’m assuming its an upper GI endoscopy and not sticking a tube up your back side.
If it was the of the ass raping variety then the salad has fuck all to do with it …. the doctor just likes doing that to you ….. I’d personally be flattered …. you shouldn’t ….

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than a sigmoidoscopy (other end). I had it done while I was fully awake. NOT fun.
