New iPods now available at zMacShop

New iPods

The new 80GB iPod and the new 4GB and 8GB nanos are now available at zMacShop. The 80GB iPod is selling for KD120 while the 4GB nano is selling for KD77 and the 8GB for KD88. These prices are CHEAP compared to the older ipods currently selling in the local market. Also as of this post no other Apple store in Kuwait has the new iPods.

i agree with patrick zmacshop does have the best price. but the thing is its in such as isolated and hard to find area…. and i dont think that the general public know that much about it….so i would really like to see zmacshop change its location or open up another branch

Maybe I’m just tired, but that ad doesn’t make much sense.
Are they saying they’re the first to have the new iPods b/c they were forced to try harder b/c they’re second best? Or are they saying that, since they were the “first to market” with the new iPod, they don’t need to try as hard?

And it always grounds me when I see a company that places a priority on print advertising instead of their “web presence.” Of course, in this case, that seems a bit strange. I can’t remember the last time I physically picked up a newspaper. I wonder how many people will only see this electronic version of their print ad?

bitzer what you said is true but the number one media in Kuwait is sadly print.

    LOL

Hawalli is like – 1 street for computer stuff. Unless you only have 1 leg, nothing’s that hard to find.

Oh, no doubt. That’s what I meant with the whole “grounded” thing. I try to remind myself that not everyone has broadband, let alone try to remember that not everyone has a computer. It’s times like these when I remember that not everyone gets all their media through an LCD.

Slightly off-topic: does anyone know the size of the iMac on display in the window of Mac & More? My wife said she saw it from a distance and that she thought it might have been a 24″. I’m impressed if it was, b/c this was the day after they’d announced them.

its the 20inch, i hope i never see the 24inch because i want it but dont want to buy it. seeing it would be enough to make me want to buy one.

That is an unbelievable price! I got mine for 80kd (shipping+tax) from the states; and i had to wait over 10 days to get it.

    Hi Guys,

mac & more had the same items 3 days back, all the nanos are in stock. Price is little bit more but you get international warranty (nice and worth the extra KD price, at least for me). I bought my first apple cpu, 24″ imac from them. It was the last piece.

  20. 21. Nothingologist | September 28th, 2006 at 9:31 am

    What is an ‘international warranty’?

  21. 22. wayway | September 28th, 2006 at 5:52 pm

All Apple products have International Warranty, well all major brands have them. but they dont work in the Middle east. what i mean is. if you dont buy your product from the shop in the middle east they wont be help responsible for the defective product. and i dont think Mac and More gives 1 year. i think its 3-6 months same thing with Click N Buy its 3 months only. 2 places that give 1 year i think is Best Buy and Z Mac Shop. so choose wisly My 2 ยข

  22. 23. wayway | September 28th, 2006 at 5:54 pm

oh and one more thing. Z mac had them first. i called everywhere and z mac where the only ones that had them the day i called. Plus i got mine from them before thier add came out or on this blog. cheers
