Such a big fuss about number plates !
1- Mark is right thw “1″ is the start of every 9999 plates.
2- Numbers are issued by computers and based on first come first serve
3- There will be no auction or sale of any special numbers
4- The whole issue of the re-designe is so that the Speed cameras get a “clear ” picture without the benefit of a doubt when speeding
5-The numbers are all “Arabic Numerals” anyway & Kuwait in English is good internationally
6-In few months we will all forget how the number plates look but start worrying about the traffic fines we have to pay.
I baught a new car last week & missed out on getting a new plate

no no no you guys got it all wrong they changed the plates to make the numbers because our cops need to wear glasses lol the cops here are all cross eyed… we need to hurry before the cool numbers run out theyll start handing out #136457

The entire thing is part of the departments plan to rake in some extra dough, 5KD per plate for every new registration is quite a bit.
