New Qualitynet block page, now with cats!
Qualitynet have updated their block page so if you go to say playboy.com you will get the following message:
And this URL:
http://blocked.qualitynet.net/blocked/index.php?cat=0
Now if you change the last number from 0 to say 1 you get a different message for example go to:
http://blocked.qualitynet.net/blocked/index.php?cat=1
You will notice a message added which is “Category: Pornography”
If you replace it with a 2 you get:
http://blocked.qualitynet.net/blocked/index.php?cat=2
Category: Gambling
Got it? Well this is where it gets interesting, if you replace that number with anything from 4 and up you get LOLCATS!
For example I replaced it with 19:
http://blocked.qualitynet.net/blocked/index.php?cat=19
And I got:
An ISP with a sense of humor, pretty cool.

ISP with the sense of stupidity , the Qualified staff were kicked out due to economic crisis !! , Qnet is selling internet , what kind of crisis u`ll face as a company ? losing people cuz of weak service , they look for cheap employees to save big bonuses for general managers , one of the old general managers was sending all his bills to the company even the laundry !! what u wait from mean company ?
i hope the MOC increase the ISP`s so that we can choose and the competition increased ,,
this is my first time reading your blog and i spend an hour reading more that 25 pages and i`m interesting in reading more , good job , and keep up the good work ,

I’m really having a bad time with Qnet :(
I’m dafently will look for other Internet provider once my contract is finished.
The problem is when you used to have a better service and faster Internet for years then you switch to this slow expansive unstable ones!
We almost 2010 and we still using 1mb speed! Furthermore with extra blocking stuff!! What a shame!

A good idea to take the sting of running into an unnecessarily blocked site, so instead of cursing “F*%K YOU [insert ISP here]!!” you go…. aaaaww, cute little kitty cat!
Have you ever noticed, that whenever there is a high profile diplomatic mission visiting the country, internet censorship is suspended?
Someone suggested, that it’s because ‘they’ don’t want to interfere with the mission’s communications or so as not to show the international community how oppressed Kuwait is.
China did the same kind of thing during the Olympics.
