Crumbs:
It fit in perfectly for a food-court, didn’t look homemade.
Honestly, it looks like just another pale imitation of all successful, professional and most importantly, *original* bakeries. Especially the ones that have recently open in Kuwait.

The idea/theme of the shop isn’t exactly more profound than a display for a kid’s party in McDonalds.
I found my bakery in Kuwait, I think I’ll stick to it. But good luck!

Crumbs does have amazing cookies….but they also have the best muffins, cupcakes and brownies i’ve ever tasted. Check it out, worth every calorie…we only live once :)

Hey yeah the cover was designed by Nat. If the print quality was better it would have even turned out better. The author is Kuwaiti.

I passed at D*lush the other day I went to the Avenues and completely forgot to try it. I shall give it a try while investigating Crumbs as well.

=====Off-Topic======

By the way Mark, yesterday I went to Virgin and picked up a book called “Al-Montather”. I honestly was impressed with the cover; I believe it was designed by Nataly correct? I’ve to say it is one of the most beautiful covers I’ve ever seen, in terms of Arabic novels. Although I kinda wished if it were a hardcover but I believe it wasn’t Natay decision but the publishers. Two quick questions though:

- Has Nataly designed another book cover(s) beside this? I’d like to get my hands on it.

- Finally, do you know the nationality of the author? He doesn’t look Kuwaiti to me but I’m guessing he is Qatari.
