Orange Taxi’s
I just found an article by mistake on the Kuwait Times website on the demise of the orange taxi’s. Although I’ve never used them before I’ve always been intrigued by them. According to the article though they might not be around for much longer, with no help from the government and a lot more competition, the orange taxi’s are quickly losing ground to buses and jawal taxis. I usually see the orange taxis at the airport when I arrive in Kuwait…I always thought they were the “Airport Taxis” or something…

I have never seen an Orange Taxi at the airport. But there are a few in my neighborhood here.
One that has not been used for a while ;)
I’ve snapped one here in Mangaf the other day and was wondering what the deal was with them.

the airport ones i think are white with a green line.

They’re the same, with the same bastards driving them. They over-charge and like to make conversations when you get in with them. They suck ass.
One of ‘em kept asking me about prostitution in Germany, if it was cheap or pricey.
