Pierre Marcolini… Chocolatier
I got an email today from Hilton Kuwait Resort inviting me and Nat to a a live “chocolate show” done by one of the world most famous chocolatier, Pierre Marcolini on February 11th. The day will start off at 12PM with lunch at the Teatro Restaurant, this will then be followed by a live chocolate presentation by chef Pierre Marcolini at 2:00PM in the Song Bird Cafe where we can eat all the chocolate that we can eat.
The live chocolate presentation is open to the public and you will be able to buy and try a variety of chocolates. I have never been to a chocolate event so it should be interesting. You can view the ad for the event by clicking [Here]

Their chocolate is the best but damn expensive! Those of you who indulge on snickers dont need to waste their time as their taste buds are already destroyed.

I heard of PM just 2 months ago, when some belgians came visited us and brought some of PM from brussel… heavenly.
to my surprise.. I found some at the cafe in Hilton Mangaf, I bought chocolate thins… 6 KD for 32 pcs!!!
it’s like having a real decent meal after year of junk food.

[...] Yesterday I took a day off work so I could go to the Pierre Marcolini event at Hilton. It started off with lunch at Teatro followed by a chocolate presentation at the Song Bird cafe at 2PM. The presentation which I thought would be boring turned out to be pretty cool and informative. It was like watching an episode on Discovery Channel on how chocolate is made except the presenter was Pierre Marcolini himself. I guess it was like watching the Teutul family talk about how they made choppers minus all the shouting and banging. They even passed around chocolate in its various unfinished stages so we could smell and at one point taste. [...]
