Planet Hollywood opening in Kuwait
I found out today that Planet Hollywood will be opening in the basement of the Olympia towers in Salmiya at the end of summer. The only good thing that might come out of this is if Sylvester Stallone comes for the opening and I stalk him until he agrees to take a picture with me.
Update: Turns out The Noodle House is also opening in Olympia in June.

13. Mark | March 29th, 2009 at 11:58 pm
its the basement of a mall… its common for food courts or restaurants to be placed in the basement.
Basement does not equal dungeon

I hated it in Amman, it went out of business and I know the person who bought the terminator 2 statue, it was wow. I have pics of it somewhere

“its common for food courts or restaurants to be placed in the basement”
I dont mind food courts in basements…. but that is not always the case! True, it does not mean dungeon… but its also not “common”… specially not in the US!

Mmmm so who is dumb idiot that thought it is still successfull ? Even a Hard Rock at the sea didn’t make it successfull. Food sucks and the atmosphere spells cheesiness all over. Now a noodle house is something I would go for.

I hope they get the terminator!

Yet another tired and crappy franchise way past it’s expiry date. Planet Hollywood’s 15 minutes of fame ended sometime in the mid 1990s
And no you won’t get any celebs at the opening because they all cashed out and escaped the embarrassment when they could!
