   no actually on the topic of pleo, i hope you forgive me.
   but have you noticed the sign in careffour in the avenues mall next to the Qur’ān’s in the reading section?

   it states on the glass box they are kept in, that non muslims are prohibited from handling the Qur’ān is there such a thing? im british and have handled a Qur’ān before and also read an english version, what does all this mean any ideas?

   much appreciated

   If non-muslims are prohibited from touching the quran, then how would they read it if they are interested in the religion and wanted to know more about it to increase their understanding or even convert?
   why are they even SELLING qurans and in a french shopping centre with jewish owned shops nearby in a fucking mall of all places?

   It’s just a bullshit sign put up by really ignorant idiots that know nothing about their religion.

    You’re missing the point.. in Islamic law, the Koran clearly states there is the death punishment for people leaving Islam.. whether islamic countries abide by it or not is something else.

    jo either way you should read it, knowledge is power, + its a win win situation, ie if you christian and read the qoran and feel that chrisitianity is still correct then you win, if you read the qoran and realize islam is the right way then you covert, and your still a winner. I think (dont quote me) it has to do with the ablution, and that you must be in a clean state when handling the qoran, which typically non-muslims are not.
