He told me that since 1991, the idiot managers never did the full required maintenance on the generators causing efficiency to go down very fast. He also told me that most of the machines have already exceeded their maximum life. If the government want to solve the energy problem then they should handover the work to the private sector. They should establish a publicly traded corporations to handle electricity, land phones, and mail services. This is because of the messed up government sector. We spend so much money on other countries and help them out but we seem to forget ourselves. On a personal note, sometimes I even wonder if it is worth it to give that much to all those countries. Because what do Kuwaitis or KUWAIT in general get in return? NOTHING but hate.
