Review: Blenz Coffee

Blenz

Last night I met a friend at Blenz Coffee located in Marina Waves and I think I discovered the worst cookies, muffins and chocolate drink all in one place. I decided on Blenz as our meet up spot because it has a nice seating area outside with a great view and the fact that parking is abundant. There were only two other tables occupied and at first I figured its because not many people know about Blenz but now I know its probably because the food and drinks are really terrible.

I ordered a chocolate chip cookie, a chocolate chip muffin and an iced chocolate drink. All three of my items were the worst I have ever had. I only had a few pieces of the cookie, one bite of the muffin and two sips of the chocolate drink and then threw them away. They were just horrible! Lucky for us they only have one branch in Kuwait which means if luck is on your side you could live your whole life without having to experience the disaster Blenz is. My final score is a 1 out of 5 stars. The one star is because of the great view.

Well, consider yourself lucky that at least you got to taste your order. My husband and I tried that coffee shop a year ago (as inexperienced newcomers) and we didn’t (or couldn’t rather) stay for more than 10 minutes because the place was literally full of bugs. Yuck!

Coulda been worse, you could have tried the stale muffins or filling-less wraps from Berts.

The name! Blenz? What is that like Benz (Mercedes)? or Blends?

Not to mention the logo. Unfortunately, some shops open up before they r 100% sure they have good food. First impressions r the most important!

    Blenz a Canadian Coffee company…http://www.blenz.com/

“Blenz Coffee has always believed that quality makes a difference. We care about the quality of what we serve and our millions of yearly Customers tell us they can taste the difference. We started with the idea that coffee should be Never Burnt, Never Bitterâ„¢ . That commitment to taste has helped Blenz create beverages that are second to none.”

They are probably much better overseas!!

It’s a Canadian franchise. There sandwiches are good I like the grilled chicken, but the coffee sucks I’d prefer nescafe over that coffee.

Mark I do extremely agree with you.. before two weeks I went to Maki to have my lunch with family, and then I decided to try Blenz coffee since i liked their view, actually it was terrible experiment!! I didn’t feel the flavor of the coffee and as if I was drinking a cup of hot water!
