Review: Johnny Rockets Chili Hot Dog
When I asked about good chilidogs in Kuwait a lot of people recommended I try the chilidog at Johnny Rockets. Well I tried it and it sucked.
First of all the hot dog arrived with the bun wide open. Then the hot dog itself was also split open down the middle and the whole thing was covered with a ton of chili and some chopped onions. When I closed the bun so I could eat it the top half of the bun split away from the bottom half and the chili just started dripping uncontrollably everywhere. Its definitely not a sandwich you would want to order on your first date… or ANY date for that matter.
After a short struggle and going through a dozen napkins I finally managed to finish my chilidog. I wasn’t impressed. Their chili is decent but really the whole experience wasn’t very pleasant. Compared to Hardees, Burger Boutique and Fuddruckers, Johnny Rockets has the worst chilidog. My final score is a 2.5 out of 5. The price of the chilidog is KD1.850.

Not bad for a canned chili thats cooked like a year ago.

Hey I would give it one more star! Its pretty good, but I will try the fudruckkers hotdog and burger boutique! I need to go there damn it! hahaha

I tried their Breakfast because everyone was saying it is the best, but I was not impressed.
I like Fuddruckers breakfast.

marzouq: it really wasn’t that good. i didn’t enjoy it. you need to try the fudds one, its a lot cooler.

cajie: fudds breakfast used to be wayy better before. now i feel its greasier. anyway airport fudds has best deal on breakfast, KD1.

Which fuds are you talking about? The one on the gulfroad or is there another one?

if u think the hardees one is better then man u need to give up reviewing food. i don’t think anyone on the planet would agree with you on that, not even yo mama.

Try Famous Nathan’s.
Now you can order online by using 6alabat.com serivce, I tried it and food was great; arrived at my place(Surra) within 35minutes

i didnt rate it a 3.5, you misheard. 3.5 would mean its as good as fudds chilidog, which it isnt.

maybe u originally rated it 3.5 but then u found out the fudds one was 3.5 so u had to lower it. that’s not the hot dog’s fault that u can’t even remember, LOL.

Johnny Rockets sucks, i was having launch at their shop in Marina last week when i found a staple pin in my chicken salad.
and all i got is : Sorry Siiiiir we will change it for you.

Nobody disses J.Rockets, the best is there original burgers. Ive been orderng it since 1993 in london. however, their hot dogs are normal, nothing special. I would go for the hardees. Any ways, the best hot dogs are made of pork. the best hot dogs in the world (to me) are to be found in Picadilly, LONDON, in the early hours of the morning as youre coming out of the clubs. the best!.. but very unhealthy.. fatty.
