my impression on those headphones is just one word (clear)

i am using them on my Roland HD-1 drum set and they just bypass the earphones they incluse in the set, the sound is seriously 10 times better in quality and you can hear the bass drum realllyyyy well.

so if you aer willing to get them i say go for it.

my only complaint is about the fact that they run on batteries,
why do they make headphones work with batteries?
but all in all they are GREAT !

My friend bought the beats, and he’s addicted to them. I must admit, they are prettty damn comfortable and the noise is amazingggg! It’s winter time here and they are pretty for ear muffs….even the packaging is coool…but i do think they’re way too big!!!!

Mark, i have to agree to disagree with you. as an owener of both Beats in ear and Studio. The studio was more the music lover/audiophile+ its has that bling factor. Great for DJ’ing and easy travel or study. I do agree can be difficult while travelling. That’s why i got the in ears for christmas. They absolutely rock! Small, power packed the same kind of deep clean bass delivery, i love the cable cord, they call it spaghetti cable or something, it doesnt tangle. they look super cool as well. The bose are great, but as a customer i think i would draw the line of comparisons between the merc and BMW customers, where each speaks for a diiferent audience and market. Thats why i guess Beats are sold exclusivly in apple stores in the US, as they are targeting a different audience.

That’s my two cents. You should try the In ears, i think you will like them. i wish they made them wireless :)

The PX100 suck for traveling. yeah they fold up nicely but they’re not loud enough on the plane without annoying everyone around you, they don’t have noise reduction and they don’t sound anything close to these.

over the ear good quality headphones will always have this drawback of size. so quality vs convenience leaves u often in a no-win situation. senn px100 are excellent choice for foldable travel units.

“Brace for impact” is much important for me during the flight so I wont use this during a flight :D
