This very unappetizing picture is of a Shrimpy meal which K.theKuwaiti ordered. Although I have been craving Shrimpy for a while now, after reading his story and seeing the pictures I think I will focus my attention back to donuts or cookies. They should never have shut down Long John Silvers, it was like a better version of Shrimpy. Anyway you can read his experience by visiting his site. [Link]

Fish and Chips…Mmmmm… I think the closest to fish and chips ive had was at Hard Rock… Batter fried hamour… not bad..

No good fish n chips place here. The best is homemade beer battered fish that comes out so crispy, you might want to take a bite of the plate too. Perfect fries is a must! triple fried and thick. I think I’m gonna do some experiements on that.

this is only one man’s opinion…and one man’s experience…I once had shrimpy and I thought it was great…..and when i had it the food looked amazing.

after looking at the picture i cancelled my order with sharamby (trademark)

We have a shrimpy close to our house which I order from quiet regularly. I like their shrimps and fries. I enjoy their fish too.
I am pretty confident that I can order one and take a picture that closely resembles their brochures.
I respect k.kuwaiti’s work, but this may be an isolated incident.

Shrimpy rocks! K is the man and all, but he can’t hate on Shrimpy! Their food is GOOD and the restauant is a Kuwaiti classic! The only thing that would be any more classic is if they’d bring back Shrimpy Salmiya, the one that used to be right across from where Johnny Rocket’s is now.

For the best fish and chips, go to Sha6er 3abbas in Souk al-Mubarakiyah (ask K) and ask for the chan3ad with french fries. Or just go to Shrimp. It’s shrimply that good.
