We grew up looking at pictured hung high on our shcools, right at the auditorium’s walls which has two smilling respected men. Baba Jaber & baba Saad were the father figures for every litlle girl and boy. We sang songs that carried their names, and these two men were really what represented to our childesh minds something big called government. As a 29 years old woman they are still Baba Jaber and baba saad and they always will be remembered and cherished.
May they both rest in peace.

Today Kuwait and the world lost a brave man who loved his country and his people and they both loved him back. He was a hero and voice of Kuwait during the invitation and he was a force for good and reform during peace. He is respected by all and they all shall pay him respect once more.

May ALLAH have mercy on his soul and may he rest in peace. I still remember the days we used to see him alongwith Baba Jaber smiling with care over huge portraits on buildings & schools as they were showing affection towards their nation. Still remember the day we saw him on TV when he came back from the summit with unpleased gestures and next day Iraq invaded Kuwait.

  28. Ryan Hobbs says:

He was the only kuwaiti in a political position of power that not only cared about the Kuwaiti’s but everyone living in Kuwait. For that in-prejudice, clear, non-discriminative mindset and life, May his soul rest in peace.
