Sky Billboard in Marina Mall?

Recently Marina Mall has become extremely cluttered with ads and it seems things will just get worse. A few days ago “ads 2 blog” posted Marina Mall was going to install a fog screen where ads would run on it. Now today ads 2 blog posted that Marina Mall is also launching a Sky Billboard which will fly around inside the mall displaying ads!
On the bright side, Avenues is opening up on the 20th of this month which is just three days away.

Trust me Mark, I went inside the avenues yesterday(I know it is under construction, but one of my friends is designing one of the showrooms inside so I got a pass) and seriously man its only 25% done I mean only Phase 1 is complete and it only contains a few brands(I only saw starbucks sign), on the filp side all 13 brands of Al-Shayas are gonna be built but those are located way on the other end of the mall along with the french retailer CARRFOUR which is yet to be built SO the bottom line is don’t expect much from the avenues @ the 20th (BTW the interior of the mall is awesome )

Marina is too crowded sometimes, but people don’t have anywhere else to go!
Too much ads suck! Especially the bluetooth ones!

All the malls start with “high” aspirations of attracting only the best retailers, and therefore the best crowds. They all start with some spiel about maintaining the mall’s integrity and whatever.. then reality sets in and they’re forced to rent every living inch to promoters and advertisers, cluttering the malls and turning them into upscale bazaars for better or worse
I truly hope the Avenues doesn’t get forced to go down that route, because by all accounts its really nice.

LOL - Mercedes, DentXpress, Waa7a.com, and MTC all on 1 page, and you’re complaining about blimps at MM?!

You could also do that HTML thing where the cursor turns into a dunkin donut as it moves around the screen (but please don’t)

Fog screen seems very interesting and I’m definitely going to take a look at it once they set it up in the marina mall.

i don’t see what the big deal is about…ads are fine…so long as they don’t get in our way…it’ll be goos for MM with the money they make out of it, they’ll be able to add more things to MM. More activities outside too.

ok, my last comment on this subject… but I thought it’d be really funny to advertise 248am.com on the balloon, just for a day.

Skybillboard is a good idea, the market is flooded with same media all over, its time for some new spaceless media,
and skybillboard did not start in kuwait yet, we will start by next 10 days after a long maket study.

Hello everyone,
Although I am thankful to Mark for posting this piece of potential news, Powersign has come to no conclusive agreement thus far with Marina Mall in regards to our product the SkyBillboard. If Mark would also please share with me, as I am the representative for our company, exactly how he obtained this image, this would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Toby Halloran
