Tagine Moroccan Restaurant Review

Tagine

Tagine is the new Moroccan restaurant that opened up at The Palms. I haven’t gone to it yet but after reading Desert Girl’s review I am not as excited to try it out. [Link]

Same applies to Al-Mayass aka Al Bazerkan, I went to soft opening expecting fireworks in term of a dining experience. Service was below par, the famous Kefta with Karaz was unsavoury and the bill was sky high. Too bad that such a well established restaurant in Beirut can not manage to deliver on my expectations.

If it is the same one as in dubai, with same quality of food, service and music, it is certainly worth trying!

for better food quality, friendly service, quiet atmosphere, and almost 2/3 the price: go to Marrakesh in Alya & Ghalya towers, i went there with two friends and we were all satasfied (well, except for me, i was really hungry and the portions were rather small), and the bill was only 27 kd.

If its in the soft opening stage, it should be spared from the harsh criticism, atleast for now. I tried both Marrakech and Tagine and both had pros and cons. Both had bad service and food, but great atmosphere. I hope they get around to fix those service / food issues real soon before it hits the reputation and they wont be able to resuscitate. I love Moroccan food and certainly would love to see one at least succeed.

Didnt like it. But i guess thats the case for all newly opened restaurants in kuwait.
    Loved the atmosphere though.
