Tarsheed….just a hoax to harass Non-Kuwaitis. Why is Load shedding done in non-Kuwaiti areas. Visit the Kuwaiti’s houses when no one(except the house maid) is in the house, their houses are chilling cold and to top it, no Load shedding in those areas. Let them taste the heat and the problems faced by non-Kuwaitis when they are out of electricity at nights when every expects to have some rest to face the next day. If this is an Islamic country(as propagated), what does Islam say about treating your neighbors and employees.

What “Tarsheed’?!! Come and visit Kuwait Free Trade Zone. Ever since the campaign kicked off, the big sodium vapour lamps kept out side each of the warehouses are kept ON, 24/7 !! Note that KFTZ is run by Public Authority for Industry, a govt body!! Long live Tarsheed.

They probably mean turn it off when your outside the house or travelling, which was being said when the campaign first began.

So let me get this straight.. They expect us to leave our aircons set at 30c, i might as well turn it off!!
Then they tell us to shut the aircons off, and at the same time tightly close all the windows. Seariously, i know we dont have enough electricity for the 2.4 million population, but isn’t it over the top to lower the population by slowly baking the in their houses. lol

KUWAIT CITY: “The Audit Bureau’s decision to cancel the contracts of Ministry of Electricity and Water’s (MEW) ‘Emergency Project -2008’ will create an energy crisis next year,” Al-Rai daily quoted a reliable source at the MEW as saying. The source alleged that Audit Bureau’s decision was influenced by external pressure and “aimed at favoring some authorities and influential individuals.” Referring to the problems faced during the implementation of the ‘Emergency Project -2007,’ the source said, “the authorized companies are installing the gas turbines but the problem is with the manufacturers, who have failed to produce the required equipments at the right time.” He mentioned that all contracts of the 2008 project were signed after obtaining the approval of the Central Tenders Committee (CTC) and after conducting a thorough study. WHAT A JOKE!! MASKHARA!!!
THE GOVERNMENT WAS WARNED 10 YEARS AGO THAT WE NEEDED NEW POWER STATIONS..UNTILL NOW.. NOTHING, ONLY MINMAL TEMPARARY POWER STATIONS BOUGHT, AND NOW THEY EXPECT US (THE CITIZENS) TO KEEP OUR A/C’S ON 30C? Are they demented or something??
By the way, dubai has nuclear power stations in the works. and look at us.. third world country, having problems every year with water and electricity. USELESS!!
