Even if you don't read the comic book we all need to give him some "Todd McFarlane" credit. Spawn went from being a brand new IP to becoming a best-selling comic book, toy line, animated series, and live-action feature film in less than 5 years. Whether or not you like Spawn, you have to give McFarlane credit for getting all of that done. I think Naif Al-Mutawa deserves the same amount of credit too. But the only thing consistent in intellectual property licensing is that all roads lead to Rome. Pirates of the Caribean was a theme park ride before it became a comic and movie. Spiderman was a comic before it became a movie. Scooby Doo was a cartoon before it became a movie and comic series. But investing in a high tech park with visas being about as easy (and as comfortable) as a colonoscopy in this country mean that the market will be extremely limited and a loss proposition to anyone attempting such an endeavour.
