The Kuwaiti National Anthem
Does anyone know who the composer was for the Kuwaiti National Anthem? I just tried finding out with Google but couldn’t find anything.
update: Never mind found this…
The Kuwaiti national anthem is by poet Ahmad Meshari Al-Adwani, Ibrahim Al-Soula composed the music and Ahmad Ali arranged the composition. [Source]

our national anthem is embarrasing..
if u wanna defend it, dont even think of comparing it with the British anthem which has been around for nearly three hundred years. Even Beethoven composed the British anthem.. Google it. Theyget Beethoven, we get bu-flan composing ours.

I thought ghannam aldaigan composed it. and in i think i like kuwait’s anthem, as a matter of fact, i like most of the middle east countries anthem. they have a 60s-70s patriotism feel.

Jassim thats what I was told that aldaigan composed it so I was looking for the spelling of his proper name or more information about him then I found out it wasn’t him. Strange.

No, it wasnt composed by Ghannam Al Dikan (proper spelling), but by Ibrahim Al Soula as you mentioned in your post.

sfda78: Our national anthem is embarrassing? It strikes me with pure pride and patriotism towards our beloved Kuwait. Unfortunately I think people like you are a embarrassment to Kuwait by your lack of respect to our national anthem. God bless Kuwait.

i was wrong regarding Aldaigan, found this in a website “After the proclamation of Kuwait’s independence, the Kuwaiti national anthem was written by the poet Meshari Al-Adwani and was broadcast for the first time on February 25, 1978. The music was composed by Ibrahim Al-Soula and arranged by Ahmad Ali. The ‘Amiri Salute’ was composed by Yousuf Adees in 1951 and was used until February 1978. The ‘National Salute’ consists of the first six bars of the National Anthem.”
hope it helps

Actually I like the composition of the Arab national anthems more than the westerns…The only bad part of the Arab anthems is the old arrangement.
About the lyrics and poems… It’s very well known that Arab’s poetry can not be compared to English poetry at all since Arabic is deeper language, full of figure speeches which makes it unique and poetic.
I am not talking about the Kuwaiti national anthem; I am talking about all Arab anthems including the Libyan one!
