Kittens are sold far too young and most of their animals are sick. It worth to spend a little more and buy a kitten or puppy from a reputable breeder. Be prepeared to answer questions ..a reputable breeder will do their best to ensure their puppies or kittens are getting good homes. I most certainly would not sell a kitten to someone without actually meeting them first. Do not buy animals from the Friday market or pet shops. Kittens are sold far too young and most of their animals are sick.
It worth to spend a little more and buy a kitten or puppy from a reputable breeder. When I took my 1 year old son there (thank goodness he won't remember what it was like) I saw a chimpanzee alone in a cage about 3 metres square, a monkey chained to a post by a 2 foot chain that was wearing away the skin around his waist (thankfully, a friend of mine rescued him), a giraffe in an area way too small and small fluffy dogs being pushed around in prams. Unfortunately most of the Philippino staff seemed to think that the animals were being treated well, so it isn't just some unscrupulous Kuwaiti trying to make money. Little Jungle is a complete disgrace and the owners and staff should be ashamed of themselves. I wish that someone would paint over the sign they have on the pedestrian bridge on the 30. Anyone fancy a midnight recce with a can and paint brush? Little Jungle is still open.
