Have they broken ground yet on this project? If so, please post a picture of the cranes.

And while all these luxurious changes are being made by workers whose passports have been confiscated, the airport cops will still herd lines of maids behind a screen at passport control, yelling ‘hindi’, ‘filipini’ and being generally barbaric as usual. Kuwait has the wrong idea when it comes to development!

All that sounds good and all, but my question is…. Will there really be enough parking, both short and long term? Oh and please make it ALL Non-smoking!!

This is a great magnificent video showing the great magnificent new airport with its magnificent and spectacular view so passengers can enjoy the beautifully manicured landscaped gardens.

I just hope they do a magnificent spectacular job when they build it so we can enjoy the skylight roof top and the gardens.

the last airport project was just 10 years back, so soon and for what purpose, this country has no need for foreign tourists or workforce, on top of that a loss making national airline…

@morris – By the time this airport is built, Kuwait will need a second airport. It would be advantageous for them to use the present airport after they build this one. But I envision, that Kuwait will need an airport past the refineries.

As a woman i appreciate that the design of the building and the logo closely resembles the internal female reproductive system.
