The new True Value now open

True Value

The new True Value location opened up today and I passed by to check it out. I didn’t like it, I actually hated it. The old True Value never really was that great but at least it felt cozy which now it lacks. The location of the new True Value is Al-Rai. If you’re on the 4th ring road and Lexus and Toyota are on your right hand side, keep going straight and take the right turn before Alghanim Electronics. Then, keep going straight until you see True Value on the left.

It’s like a crappy Home Depot or Lowes… like a Sutherlands or Ace Hardware.

    Mark,

Where exactly is the new Ace Hardware located? I am looking for good quality, natural light, long-life, energy saving light bulbs.

I usually get them from IKEA but they have been out for a few months now!!

Well its close to True Value.

Ace Hardware is in Al-Rai. If you’re on the 4th ring road and Lexus and Toyota are on your right hand side, keep going straight and take the right turn before Alghanim Electronics. Then go straight and take your second right. You should find Ace Hardware like 50 meters in to your right.

I heard the architect of the new building is a Kuwaiti female. I don’t remember her name. Can any one confirm?

    Randy,

Just go to your local Co-Op they have all the bulbs you need. Name brand energy saving bulbs with all color options available. Just go to the hardware department

the architect of the building is a kuwaiti guy (me) actually, so thanks hehe. The charming showaik true value will still be open, but the image needed to be upgraded because of the new market direction and surrounding. That being said, alot of changes were made to the original scheme proposed based on the clients requests.
