The Nut Tree

Nuts

After having lunch at Quiznos yesterday in Baitak Tower I found this cool place called The Nut Tree. Unlike regular nut shops in Kuwait The Nut Tree had flavored nuts like glazed, honey dipped and more. They even had some dipped in chocolate, I ended up getting dried banana dipped in chocolate and also hazelnut dipped in chocolate. Both were REALLY good. When I got back home I googled them and it turned out they’re a small British chain, you can check their website [Here]

The name of the store makes me think of something else.

I like their honeycomb chocolate covered thingy… their coffee beans covered with dark chocos.. and their sugar roasted pecans… though i would not go into their store voluntarily because eating sugar roasted chocolate coated nuts and seeds is the last thing i need … but they are fresh and good… i go to the one in mishref coop as the whole baitek place makes me a bit claustrophobic i dont know why?

liliuokalani, it is true we have more branches in Kuwait than the UK, this is due to 2 important facts:

1- The Nut Tree UK focus is more on wholesale, some of our few clients list: 5 Star Hotels, Health Food Shops and big chain stores across UK & Europe. Never the less soon more branches will open soon in UK.

2- Middle East Culture is more oriented towards roasted nuts, as you are aware we use nut in all our occasions and that is why the expansion in the middle east is faster than the one in UK.

Now we are in the process of recruiting partners across the Middle East Region, definitely you will see more stores across the MENA region in the coming year.
