Three Puppies Rescued
I was at Smoke House with Nat having lunch when a friend of ours called up saying her friends had rescued 3 puppies and didn’t know what to do with them. We finished up our lunch and headed towards Adan area where we met up with our friend, Jasem from the Six-K Club and his best friend. Jasem and his friend rescued the three puppies after finding them locked up without food or water.
Turns out the owner of these dogs went insane and the cops came to take him away. When they came and found the three puppies they locked one up in the bathroom and then shoved the other two into a small pigeon cage in the back yard. No water, no food, just left there to die. They had been left like that for 6 days before Jasem and his friend found them. The puppies were very dehydrated and starving.
We first called Animal Friends League and no one picked up, so we then called PAWs and as usual no one picked up from their side. Once we hung up we got a call back from Animal Friends who asked us if we could drop the puppies off at their farm in Wafra which we agreed to. After giving the dogs some water and food we took off to Wafra.
Its extremely extremely disappointing and sad to hear how the cops treated the puppies. I don’t know what to say, maybe they should just ban dogs in Kuwait once and for all. At least that way the dogs won’t suffer in the hands of abusive kids or get left to die in tiny cages under the scorching sun. Thanks Animal Friends for taking in the dogs. They need all the help they can get so if you want to know how you can help them out click [Here]

That is seriously inhumane! Don’t they at least believe there is going to be consequences for what these guys do! Seriously really bad!

God Bless. This guy http://www.248am.com/wp-content/gallery/three-dogs-rescued/3saddogs6.jpg reminds me of my MAX, a dog i rescued myself and flew back to India. It did cost me a lot of money but it did’nt matter at all. If you see him now, he is the happiest dog in the world and thats all that matter.
Appreciate what you did Marko.

Once again PAWS fails to fucking do anything to justify their shit existence. Must be too busy planning their next Gala fundraiser to make money to buy the founding members new custom bentleys with special titanium pet cages in the back to “rescue” their own dogs from the boredom of the great indoors, what a fucking joke. good work on the rescue man.

Once again well done. It was unfair for them to be there, so great job. They look lovely little dogs and I hope that they get nice new homes.
The White one (sat under the bench in pic.2) is my fav. How could anyone leave them there to die?
8. Mark | March 27th, 2009 at 11:46 pm
the white fluffy one who looks depressed in all the pictures is the one that was locked up in the bathroom alone for 6 days. the other two who look like brothers were locked up together in the cage outside. it looks like that experience bonded them, i hope whoever adopts them adopts the both of them together, they shouldn’t be separated.

11. Mark | March 28th, 2009 at 12:46 am

12. Jasem | March 28th, 2009 at 1:06 am
Dear Anonymouse: Can we NOT have you in Kuwait & just the dogs? lol
13. Cypher | March 28th, 2009 at 2:02 am
Great job guys for helping out the three innocent dogs.
Am not surprised by PAWS being missing in action and their useless phone number is never answered. As always AFL is still there doing the real job…….thank goodness for them.
Those cops definately need to go thru the same experience to understand what they did to the poor dogs.

no 1 care about them, i dont see anyone taking cats off the streets.
you all trying to save dogs here, there is nothing wrong with leaving the dog outside no matter how hot it is, if he has water and food, but without food and water he would die in 3-7 days. mark if you think we should ban dogs because some off us mistreat them then go to china, Germany, france and prevent them from eating them. you can’t save every dog.
17. Mark | March 28th, 2009 at 11:10 am
They don’t eat dogs in Germany and France I have no idea where you would even get that kind of misinformation. Germany and France are probably one of the best places in the world to have a dog because of the amount of care and facilities and access dogs are given.
18. TweeZ | March 28th, 2009 at 12:08 pm
What proof do you have that the cops did this to them?
19. TweeZ | March 28th, 2009 at 12:10 pm
As for PAWS, this is not a surprise. They never seem to pick up….ever.
20. Mark | March 28th, 2009 at 12:14 pm
You could go and lift finger prints but at the moment there is just eye witness accounts.
21. TweeZ | March 28th, 2009 at 12:21 pm
I don’t think that it is fair to accuse the cops that way. Your so called “witnesses” could be lying. For all we know the crazy guy did this.
22. Mahoona | March 28th, 2009 at 12:23 pm
Mark, do people always get off the subject on your blog? people! somebody did a good deed, now get over it! jeez!
& as per Germany & France eating dogs LOL, good one! made me laugh *^_^*
23. TweeZ | March 28th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
@ Remote Control
shame on you for saying that. You have no idea how hard the cops work here.
True, there may be a few rotten apples in the basket. But hey, isn’t that the case in every society?
24. Mark | March 28th, 2009 at 12:28 pm
TweeZ you don’t know the full story neither did I post the full story here. You could go do a little investigating if it will make you feel better but I wouldn’t post anything here if it wasn’t credible.
25. Mark | March 28th, 2009 at 12:31 pm
I also never accused a certain person or the whole police force, all I did was talk about the cops in this incident. I don’t have an issue with cops in general.
26. Ahmed | March 28th, 2009 at 12:36 pm
i appreciate the way you saved the dogs…but u shouldn’t blame the police if your not 100% sure of what happened.
27. TweeZ | March 28th, 2009 at 12:43 pm
Well please do post the full story then.
28. Mark | March 28th, 2009 at 12:43 pm
As I told Tweez, this information is correct but its not my business to divulge more information then I have already posted regarding this issue. If you want to take what I said with a grain of salt that’s your right but I resent the fact that some people who have no clue about anything that happened to come in here and accuse me of posting incorrect information just because they didn’t like what they read.
29. Mark | March 28th, 2009 at 12:43 pm
TweeZ its not of your business get the hint.
30. TweeZ | March 28th, 2009 at 12:45 pm
it seems that your post had quite an influence on post # 15
31. Mark | March 28th, 2009 at 12:50 pm
Like you said there are always a few rotten apples in the basket…
32. TweeZ | March 28th, 2009 at 12:52 pm
well then give us the whole story next time. I’m like any blogger here. I read the post then I comment….based on what’s given to me.
33. TweeZ | March 28th, 2009 at 12:53 pm
on a side not, I did try Smokehouse and it was the best!
34. Mark | March 28th, 2009 at 1:06 pm
TweeZ I did give you the full story, what I didn’t give was the details.
35. Pyyth4 | March 28th, 2009 at 3:38 pm

38. Security Adviser | March 29th, 2009 at 1:35 pm
Good Job Mark…. you did a good thing here. You, Nat and all of your friends who were involvled in saving the lives of these liittle ones have a seat in a special place reserved for people like you.
Doesnt matter who was responsible for the poor creatures plight.
Judgement will be given to them at the given time. All those who enjoy sadistic pleasure from watching any creature who cannot express in words the pain they feel or the discomfort they go through when they are totured by the sadistic MF’s will be given their share when the time comes by some higher spirutal heavenly authourity. Same goes for the MF’s who make money on the same pain. They are equally respnsible and equally deserving of judgement. Their hands are just as red.
Until then my friend … Good Work.. Thank You for taking the time to stop and lend a helping hand. If anything you deserve a pat on the back and recognition for what you did rather then the stupid questions put up by some who question your motives for writting this peice and whether your informtion is acurate or not
Cheers..

Just wanted to let you know that the pups are doing well. Thank you for rescuing them and driving them out to us. It makes our job a little easier and boy do we need it.
44. nugster | April 6th, 2009 at 1:41 am
great of you to save the dogs. The Bidoon situation in Kuwait is similar to the three poor puppies. the Kuwait government is leaving for slow death. I wish someone would be as kind.
