    why is this thing so protected? is it because running tivo in kuwait is illegal or something?

    holla nope not illegal but the site my contain information in the future on how to get the guide feed into the tivo and to protect tivo (the company) I’m only allowing people in kuwait to access it as we don’t have the service here.

    tivo is fucking awesome. it’s like this fully automated VCR that records and organises all your fav shows. i’ll prob have to figure out how to get this once i get showtime.

    You can buy the Tivo from Amazon.com or eBay. You need to get a Series 1 Philips. It cost me $70 like over a year ago.
