most restaurants open up quietly in the beginning for testing and they’re usually invite only and the food is usually free. now though they have a huge banner outside saying they’re officially open.

Reckless franchising taken to its idiotic extreme. A place known for it’s lurid signature cocktails and barely edible food

    WHY???!!!

Trader Vicks is known for their menu of alcoholic beverages and their live musical performances. How will this work in Kuwait?!?!

I couldn’t even get myself to go to Hard Rock cafe here… Its so lame without the alcohol…

  26. 26. zaydoun | August 18th, 2008 at 1:31 pm

    sfsa78

Not only do the owners have no clue whether booze will ever be legal here or not (I’m going with “not”), they are also a supposedly “Islamic” investment company.

How they blatantly deal with a company that serves alcohol is anyone’s guess, and I bet you they don’t care what anyone thinks

Anyone been to Lettre d’Amour? What’s that all about?!
