and mimi after reading ur post i just stood up and started applauding. ur post is so right that i cant believe ppl like u are in kuwait.. i hate it when ppl that claim to be muslims keep jumping at stories like this blaming the women about everyhthing when the truth of the matter is that if they were real “muslims” a subject like this wouldnt be such a big deal since in islam men are supposed to look the other way when women are indecent in thier definition. so bravo and hope more ppl like u show themselves :p

ok… to the ppl that are saying its thier right to dress however they like to dress…. if they were not in an islamic country i would second that opinion but we are in kuwait and dressing down that low in a place where there are alot of depraved men full of sexual fantasies because the country they are in takes away all the basic needs for men forcefully just because its “tradition” is just down right stupid. the girls got what they had coming.

This is a normal dress in europe, even if u wanna walking in the street, u can see too many girls wearing like this, i think they (girls in the picture) are in wrong time & wrong place. If anybody has problem with this style of dressing i think it backs directly to his/her culture. Certainly u can not find any culture in arab countries. Most of Arab guys have 2 or 3 or 4 wifies, women in Arab countries are nothing and thier man knows nothing about woman, use thier women only in bedroom and no wonder when they see two girls with a simple dress named them : BITCH .

Ok, I know this is an old post but I just stumbled on here. In my opinion, I agree with some of the others here.. why the hell are the girls always getting blamed for cat-calling and inappropriate behavior from the guys? I mean, come on we live in the 21st century. Kuwait is becoming westernized.. not everybody is adhering to Islam, it’s a matter of personal choice. Just because tradionalists and society think it’s not right, face it- change is coming. It came during the Gulf War, it came when the Americans took over Kuwait, it came when girls started dying their hair platinum blond, it came when you saw homosexuals and transvestites walking freely in the streets, and girls scantily dressed in bikinis at the beach. I mean you see guys riding their motorbikes on Gulf Road with their shirts flying in the wind and their boxes so low that you can see their buttcracks! I didn’t ask to see that either. So, why is this any different? A girl just wants to live. If they wanna go to a football match like they think they’re in Europe, then why are they taking all the smack for guys who can’t control their own sexual urges? If they’re frustrated, they need to get married or go home to their wives instead of spending all day at dewaniya. I have to say though, they do look cheap. Number one fashion mistake: don’t show the bra, unless it’s a fashion statement where it’s peeking out at front (and that’s hard to do).

its just the back of their bra straps. It is provocative: it provoked the thought that they are wearing bra’s and they are girls and have breasts. They think that anyways, just now they know the colour of the bra. Pretty much sums up how those guys at the stadium were thinking. who the hell cares if you find them hot or not, I personally feel they look like skanks. Someone saw something in them and caused enough of a scene to make it to the papers (with pictures I might add). dwelling into how the girls were thinking, they definitely did it to get the attention, people who live in Kuwait know how it works … girls know it from a very very young age. Shit like this happens everywhere, and I have lived in many countries to know that, but in Kuwait they take it to a different level, and since I am only stating the obvious, I am not even going to bother to try and explain the ‘different level’.
