Two new Pinkberry locations
I just found out Pinkberry will be opening two new locations. They’re opening a second smaller location in Avenues in place were CasaMaroc is, near Pottery Barn Kids. This should help reduce the long lines at their main location opposite Dean & Deluca. The second location is going to make Nat happy since it’s near our house. They’re opening a new location in Marina Mall, in place of the recently closed down Waterlemon branch. That should turn out to be a pretty big location.
Personally, I’m still waiting till they introduce biscuit cones.

Pinkberry sucks. But they’re geniuses that’s for sure.
I can’t believe that all they do is sell soft serve yogurt and rob people of 1.500 for it. It’s like 500fills for 6 mini bowls of yogurt and the grocery store and it’s the same thing. Mcodnals sells soft serve ice cream for 100fils! lol.. people amuse me.
I think it’s the actual ingredients like blueberries and blackberries that make it expensive. A small pack of those cost kd3.450 at the supermarket
It doesn’t suck but there is nothing so special about it as the hype.
The new location should near our house too. May be we are neighbours Mark :P

I think pinkberry is overrated. I’m not into yogurt but I heard from many people that there are better alternatives.
There are few in dubai that should be opening in Kuwait like the Frozen Yogurt Company and Red Mango. Guess these will make the competition harder on pinkberry.
great …less people … I passed by a building near symphony hotel and it had a coming soon frozen yogurt place … the ad looked good but it had no name..

Mark I think they JUST introduced the cone in the US stores so I wonder how long it’ll take for that to come here!
I heard they paid the owner of Waterlemon 1,000,000 KD to leave that location. Must be a happy day for Mr. Al Essa.
I think Pinkberry is yummy and glad there will be more outlets.

Mark: They just introduced the Watermelon flavor Stateside probably 3 or 4 weeks back. You didn’t happen to be in NYC at that time did you?
Wonder if it will make an appearance in Kuwait?
They should open one near mangaf.. I’d be their favorite costumer :):)

bouresli according to my guy at Pinkberry, it’s only the 2 branches I posted above.
Al-Shaya are building a restaurant complex in Jabriya (Gulf Bank road, towards the end, in-front of the mosque,close to early bird) Starbucks, Pizza Express and Pinkberry.
As I mentioned, according to my Pinkberry guy it’s just the two branches I posted above.

They use frozen fruits which tastes awful. Original Yogurt Ice cream tastes like Indian Lassi.
Over priced, too much hype. Not worth standing in que.
They don’t use frozen fruits, they use fresh fruits. I’ve seen them roll carts of them into the store. They’re similar to the ones sold at Dean & Deluca which cost KD3.450 a pack.
Ok, There is one Fake Pinkburry store in Jabria Called Blessburry, close by alshanakel stationary I guess!

I think pinkberry, and all these frozen yoghurts are addictive. I had them twice in a row in Dubai, and the third day I was having withdrawal symptoms and craving it like crazy. It’s been over a week and I could still kill for a doze…
Frozen Yogurt is a scam, they position is as ‘natural and healthy’ while it is full of sugar and coloring. How many calories in it?

There is something called KDD Yoghurt or other brands. you can start enjoying for less.

Well first of all , I was in the states and they had the Mango flavor and Watermelon, The mango was pretty good but I didn’t like the watermelon, the prices are also much better, for example a large sized with fruit toppings was something like $ 7.45 and I guess as a summer promotion they would give you the receipt and if you came the next day you’d get 50% off. So in the end it would be so cheap! I went back for 3 days in a row in Cali. Fashion Island, Spectrum Center and one in Santa Ana I believe. (Well the ones I know of It also tastes different in the States. (JOHN FERNANDES) They use fresh fruits because I actually went into their kitchen and saw them cutting up the fruits. And they actually let me into the fruits area. By the way Red Mango is the same as Pinkberry but I believe it contains something called froyo which is addictive. So either way enjoy.
