U Shop We Ship So Far
Since I just got the Nano I figured I should post an update on my experience with U Shop We Ship so far. I first posted about them back in March and have been using them since. Right after my first package got delievered by USWS I stopped using Aramex because the difference is night and day.
I have received 9 packages so far all via USWS and all without any problems. Other USWS users who have been posting in the forum also have been experiencing the same great service. The online payment system makes life extremely easy, and their shipping is very fast. Currently for a limited time they are shipping packages to Kuwait the same day they arrive to your US mailbox at no extra charge. Thats the coolest thing and I hope it they keep it like that. Another cool thing is the minute your package arrives in the mailbox you get an SMS telling you the package has arrived int he mailbox and whats in the package. For example I got an SMS a few days ago telling me an iPod Nano has arrived to my mailbox. This is a lot more practical compared to Aramex who would just state that I received a package from Amazon. You also get another SMS once the package ships from the mailbox and they even include the tracking number. Finally, their phoneline has NEVER been busy so far (4724673) and the customer support girl is always very helpful and cheerful.

amen to that. Same sms service and cant believe their shipping on the same day it arrives. If you’re using Aramex or want to buy anything from the states but they dont ship to Kuwait, this is your lucky ticket

USWS is the Aramex killer, 3days only from USA to Kuwait, and even with a big discount in shipping…not like Aramex, thay added more on shipping cost even if you use their rate calculator!

The delivery guy called me in the morning: HELLO SIR YOUR PACKAGE IN AIRPORT I SEND OK EVENING. ok great ill be waiting… I got to work, 2 hours later SIR IM INFRONT OF YOUR HOUSE. wow youre fast. ok ring the bell someone will pick it up. SIR NO BELL. Yes bell.. NO BELL. what color is my house ? WHITE. no Its pinkish. NO BELL. SORRY SIR.

how do they deal with oversized packages like 7 feet tall or a big box a 1M wide. do they still charge per 1/2 KG. i have an account but didnt dare to use it yet

To bring this forum back on topic…
4.5 out of 5 for USWS. 2 packages received and 1 more expected to hit the mailbox any day.
4.5 because the last package I received, the guy could not deliver immediately and my son was like “When is this thing coming Dad ?”, so I went to their office and picked it up personally.

Travel on the Ghazali Expressway going from Shuwaikh to the Airport.
Go under the 4th ring road bridge, and take the first exit to the right as though you are going to “Fantasy World”.
It is about 2 or 3 buildings before the “Fantasy World”.
I think the board says “Al-Sawan Freight” or something. They are on the 1st floor, while the ground floor is used by Sky-Net, who handle the actual clearance and delivery in Kuwait.

they are amazing , i ordered some stuff from USA But i didnt know that they ship next day so i paid 40 $ FOR SHIP NOW , i dont know if i can have a refund or something .

i dont think u can. i paid $20 also once. its not an official offer, they are just doing it now to promote the service.

How much did it cost you to get your macbook through USWS ? or was it through aramex ? did you have to go to custums to clear it ? did they charge you for clearance ?

Oh, USWS is amazing. I’ve never used on of these services before, so I was kind of skeptical, but their service is fast and efficient and I can’t believe I used to have to wait 2 weeks for a package from Amazon. I hope they offer use of a company, US-based credit card soon.

Seams that Aramex S&S been keeping an eye on your blog, Mark…
I’ve just received a SMS that reads:
“Dear Customer,
Your package under AWB 9######, weighing #LB and containing (…)has arrived; kindly visit us to collect it.
Msg 1 Of 1”
And it’s been sent an hour later than the online tracking info indicating the same! XD
Did it actually started to show how much USWS affecting on their business down here? XD XD

I was enjoying Ushop weship facility,but now they don’t have then ’ship now’ option and they are delaying to inform me when the packages received at Jamaica. I am looking for a better one.
