Videos and pictures from Break Da Rulz

I passed by the Red Bull event last night and I really don’t understand how companies can have events at Souk Sharq. On a weekend night its nearly impossible to find parking spot there yet alone when there is some kind of event going on. Souq Sharq has what has to be the worst parking planning in Kuwait.

Anyway I shot a couple of videos (above) and also took some pictures which you can check out below. The graffiti wasn’t that great but the dancing was much better than I was expecting.

What camera was the video recorded with?
Dancing is really better than the graffiti

  2. Bdayer says:

Danncing was ok, you saw armani and how he did when he moonwalked before tripping, he paused for like 2 seconds because he forgot the routine. He is only 15!

I honestly don’t know why a lot of people are so negative about this, I think its a great idea and the grafitti was a damn good idea to bring out some artistic talents!

    Ahmed and liliuokalani

If you don’t like these kind of events don’t go, no one is forcing you. we need more cultural activities in Kuwait.

  13. MB says:

Watching this video is just sad…

If these guys are Arabs, i feel its even worse, they have no identity it seems and have substitued something of another culture and background into their identity… are they embarrassed of their religious and cultural backgrounds or/and identity?

I wounder if hip-hoppers in the States know how to do Artha (arabic dance) ?

As someone before me said.. .pathethic … and i’d say sad…

if one needs cultural activities then do nations day where each nation presents its culture and activities, not some people with an identity crisis.

  14. Mark says:

Whats sad is the fact you think that just because they are Arabs they shouldn’t be break dancing but belly dancing instead.

  15. jayson says:

some guys here are pathetic! they doesn’t want to adapt any changes. wake-up guys, we live in the fastest era and nations have no boundaries.

  16. rashid says:

zero was cool he won but i cant find any video of him he is great and he was the youngest

  17. 3azeez says:

MB, maybe you should watch some ‘hip-hoppers’ or dancers in rap songs, they do have moves from artha…!

I’m currently studying in the states right now and haven’t been to Kuwait in almost 2 years. It’s things like this that make me not wanna go back. They’re even worse than those Army of One characters.
