I guess it is an adventure to be squeezed between the huge sweaty crowed to grab an item or two. Someone should blog about their experience today!

I wish they took a video of this event and posted it on Youtube to see how people act in those sales and how they go!

So I guess now the shirt that used to be 500 is going for 250? AWESOME!
/sarcasm
I don’t have a problem with people who like to dress nice, but there’s a not so thin line between fashion and insanity that shouldn’t be crossed. Absurdities such as people buying a plain black shirt with a price tag of 3 figures when there’s another shirt indistinguishable from it selling for 10 bucks just because it bears the name of some French dude will forever be completely beyond me.

Monotheist, I agree with you too but there are two reasons for which you opt to buy expensive branded clothes:
First one is that you don’t trust your sense of dressing so you go for brands thinking that buying from the experts would take the burden off you.
Second reason is of course the need to show off.
But still paying three figure amounts is just insane.

The reason i am adamant that i will not shop in that monstrosity of a shop, is that one could buy exactly the same peice of clothing in Harrod’s of London for nearly a Quarter of the price (and thats including the vat tax). And remember, when it comes to shopping.. the most expensive continent in the world is Europe, the most expensive country in Europe is the UK, the most expensive city in the UK is London, the most expensive location in London to shop is in Knightsbridge, and one of the most expensive retail clothing shops in Knightsbridge is Harrod’s.
One has to be mentaly challenged to spend their money in such a rip off shop like that, not to mention if their items are the real deal or not. It has to be reported in the past that some items purchased there have turned out to be fakes.

From 10am to 10pm.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
In Shuwaikh Port, Mubarakiya and Al Fanar.
I was there this morning, got there at 10:15am. I was able to pick up a wallet, a belt and shoes. Altogether for 140KD.
Gucci and Prada shops were the most hectic.

Is it true this shop has couture garments in x-large sizes you won’t find in Europe? Most people here are fat and there is no way they’d fit in European sizes.

Its fun buying anything which is 50% off, for example i bought 2 D&G jeans which cost me 190 K.D and after discount it was 95 KD so the other 95 KD i can buy 2 more shirts or whatever.. BUT// its bad for other people who bought stuff from london or italy 1 month ago and suddenly it is discounted in villa moda after 1 month!! for example i have a friend who took a prada bag ((limited edition)) which was really expensive and she was really happy having this expensive bag!! when she went to villa moda suddenly it was crowded and people were buying ((BIL HABAL)) she so her bag sold half price!! btw: she still havnt used it yet cz it was new !! YES its good for villa moda to sell everything and gain alot of profit!! bad still its not fair for other people!! atleast 20% discount or only some selected items can be discounted!!
i just wanted to comment that here cz actually there are no other place that i can comment.. THANK YOU :***
