Damon, making the right choice when voting is the “intelligent” move.

So long as the Extremists (like Monothickest) don’t get back into Parliament, then Kuwait might have a chance for change.

TweeZ with that much “3awazem” and badw in Kuwait, there is no point my vote and those intelligent votes wont matter, 65% of Kuwaitis are badw and they vote together unlike us so why bother really…

It will be really interesting to see the underdog liberals increase their numbers in parliament due to the new law which will allow something like 8 candidates from each constituency. I don’t see the extremist fundamentalist Islamists getting any stronger in the new parliament… If anything, their influence is likely to weaken.
We shall wait and see.

Sfsa, we all pray that this is the case. A liberal, progressive minded government will ensure we are set back on the right road.
Kuwait has been rapidly deteriorating under the extremist rule.

Damon,
The strengths of those people that you’ve mentioned come from a few elements:
they trust each other
they are organized
and they deliver to the people that vote for them
If you really care about who gets elected, then you will make the extra effort by telling the rest of your “intelligent” friends and make sure that they vote for someone that you trust as a good candidate. Believe me, a few votes will make a difference in your constituency.
So please, pick a few candidates that have policies similar to yours and drop by their campaign tents and listen to their speeches. You can also talk to them. Plus, there is plenty of free food to go around for everyone :) it can be fun….shwaya.

Damon
What’s wrong with badw?! their defended Kuwait with their blood for many years unlike others whom “loyalty” came after the discovery of oil. You should read your history before criticizing specific group of people bado or others. I agree with TweeZ.
It is the problem of the so called “intelligent” people like you who sit on their hands and complain about the government and parliament. If you really don’t like the system then get organized and get an “intelligent” candidate a seat in the parliament.

I really don’t care who gets elected really Tweez, at this point it’s hopeless, but even if i did it wont matter as i told you the majority in Kuwait are unintelligent badw who vote for there cousins like sheep so even if all intelligent voters voted together each bedwi has more then 12 kids from each wife he has so we have no chance in hell , its simple math.
i would go for the free food but last time i did i got a nasty case of food poisoning, i guess because i eat and don’t vote lol :) karma….
17. TweeZ | April 7th, 2008 at 7:43 pm
well, vote this time and maybe you won’t get food poisoning :)
