[...] Back in February I posted about the upgrades I am planning to do for my Wrangler. In case you missed that post I am planning on give the Wrangler a 3.75 iinch lift so I can fit 33 inch tires. Soon after that post I purchased the 5 tires from Hankook and ordered my black steel rims from the US. Then things kinda slowed down since I ended up traveling a lot and I decided to order the lift once I was back in Kuwait for a while. [...]

Dj Will, installing a suspension and body lift is extremely easy. it can take half a day if you do it alone or shorter if you have a friend. Its not dangerous at all.

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=502489
"Smaller lifts in the 2"-3" (sometimes up to 4") range are fairly easy to install and can be done by most beginners."
"On a scale of 1 to 10, installing your own lift is about a 4."

About the aerodynamics.. have you seen a wrangler? lol its like a brick on wheels! Anyway my lift isn't big at all, its 3.75" in total so handling and safety won't get effected that much. the braking will be harder because of the larger tires but will upgrade the brakes to vanco's if they are really bad.
http://www.tellico4x4.com/product_info.php/cPath/1714_315/products_id/28935

the only rocks i saw to crawl here are the ones they put around the sea bed hehe, its mostly sand bashing in Kuwait, there are a whole bunch of spots with dunes and even hill climbs and some rock crawling. do a youtube search for jeep kuwait or something for videos.

can you keep one thing in mind.. suspension systems are not easy to install.. and it is quite dangerous.. and requires certain equipment.. just be careful because some of those springs are under pressure and can injure very easily..
also, make sure the the aerodynamics are not too fucked (ie. things dangling, too much space under the car causing lift on the high way ..!
you might want to consider that as well .. unless your going to use your wrangler just for rock crawling and sand bashing..btw...any spots with sand dunes in kuwait ?

Also just to add, the reason i went with this specific lift kit of a combination of suspension lift and body lift is so that I don't have to replace my SYE or drop my transfer case. The reason I went with DPG for my kit instead of say ordering from <a href="http://quadratec.com" rel="nofollow">quadratec.com</a> is because the guy in charge at DPG is called Dirk and he is a Jeep expert who specializes in Jeep lifts and his kits are some of the best around. Very highly recommended.

Hellraiser Rancho isn't very popular with Jeep owners.Out of every 10 Wrangler owners 1 or 0.5 use Rancho, the most popular ones are the Old Man Emu and Rubicon Express lifts. Old Man Emu supposedly offer the best ride quality for the Jeep.

Also I am not installing 33" wheels, I am installing 33" TIRES, the wheels are 15". Its not bling bling...

Dude, I guess I need to stop this whole trying to get into med school thing and just become a graphic designer, because clearly you shit money!
(Mashallah, knock on wood, 5amsa 5meisa etc etc etc lol)

But seriously, don't do that. The only people who get those ginormous wheels installed are douchebags. And you're not a douchebag, are you?
