Blooming for Life

I am at The Avenues now and they have flowers and greenary all over the place sponsored by different companies for a Blooming for Life charity thing where all proceeds go to the Red Crescent. I think the mall looks much much better with these flowers everywhere, they should consider keeping them permanantly. (Posted from my Nokia E61i)

What Kuwait lacks is a beautiful public garden with lots of greenery and flowers that can sooth you mind after a hectic and gruelling day.

    RajQ8:

That would be so nice, but you know what would happen — like what happens whenever some nice place opens up:

    A. It gets flooded with people
    B. Majority of the people are women (nothing wrong with that)
    C. Then come the hecklers, the “Sonic The Hedgehog” haircut toting, swimming-goggle-sized sunglasses wearing (indoors, mind you) idiots that ruin it for the rest of it.

We can’t really have anything nice :(

^^ Emm OK. There’s actually a public park planned to be located in Salmiya in the empty plot between Souq Salmiya and Hamad Al Mubarak St. but that will probably take ages to get done.

    LMAO!! @ Burhan
It’s the same everywhere whether you are in Koweit, Abu Dhabi or SoBO ( South Bombay ) people will be beoble.
Btw , imagine what $72 billion can do in terms of having more public parks, fountains and landscaping for all of Kuwait?

I really like it too. The mall looked fresh and it was all for a good cause… I even bought a bunch flowers just for the hell of it!
