Zain Eid TVC

Today is the last day of the Zain TV commercial shoot. It’s also my tenth night here in Lebanon but also my last, tomorrow I am finally coming back to Kuwait. This commercial is turning out great. (Posted from my Nokia e61i)

A Ramadhan TV commercial and Ramadhan is coming to an end?! :-s

Maybe its for Ramadan 2008. Anyway, I think the brand name “Zain” sucks and no commercial is going to fix that.
Cheers

Ramadan TVC on the last week of ramadan ?! isnt that a bit to late ? they seriously need to pull their socks up and keep up with international standards. not do an ad for ramadan in the last 7 days ! that proves that ZAIN has MO ZAIN Planning. and the baby green whatever is called ? that color reminds me of bugars hehe

it’s not looking good with those bunch of guys sitting and chatting , how appealing is that i wonder! I’m sure the story board came from zain as usual which I’m sure is gonna suck, but the production looks professional, have fun.

i just came back to kuwait after being away for a long time and the first thing that caught my eyes was these zain billboards that i see everywhere, i think the marketing team is doing a great job , and im loving the tv commercials, they are top notch production. great job mark

Damon you can’t judge a tvc by my picture come on. For example in the actual camera framing only 1 guy shows. Wait and watch the final TVC before you start criticizing. Also the story board came from the agency not Zain.

Well good luck with this one. I have to say the latest Zain commercial (the one with the skies, the big field, and the orchestra) is quite spectacular. Even though I couldn’t relate to it to cell phone communication, I kinda “get it” at the end.

the first awful zain TVC was done by a different agency. I hope this one comes out better.

the ghitra and dishdasha looks saudi and not kuwaiti, why?
15. Damon Dash | October 6th, 2007 at 6:02 pm
hope it comes better than the one ran last Ramadan with that stupid parrot talking in video call, i didn’t know that the agency makes those story boards , this should be interesting to see a hopefully good tv commercial without the influence of cooperate chairmen , good luck mark

I wonder how Kuwaiti’s feel about being enacted by Lebanese actors…
17. Mark | October 7th, 2007 at 12:00 am
AW good eye, this is a Saudi scene :)
AERO its acting, its their job to portray other roles. Like in the movies where you have people playing roles of cops or soldiers or whatever, you think they actually went and looked for a real spiderman to play the role of Spiderman?
Kuwaitis have an equal role as Lebanese or any other nationality to act in any TVC. If we can’t find suitable Kuwaitis we use the next best thing.

Thanks for the explanation Mark. I especially liked the spiderman comparison ;)
