   Eddy, I think so too. The movie industry ran out of new ideas so they started this stupid move of remaking every 1970s and 80s cartoons into movies.

    That’s not true. Most of the speed racer fans are people like me who watched it in the 80s while growing up. That would put the target to 25 and up.

    This also isn’t a cartoon but even if it was look at how much audience pixars animation gets.

    Mark : Pixar movies are family movies , children won’t watch it the same way you do , that’s why thier scripts are adorable and sometimes nominated to the Academy of oscar , unlike these stupid movies which dont have any good script .

    and you can’t just do anything you do in the past specially if it was bad ( critics word ) .

    well Mark it’s seems that you are the only one who said that this movie is any good , Critics hate it , even poeple over imdb , and of course , i don’t waste my money on crap and support it .

    All I am saying is if u want to critisize a movie u need to have watched it atleast or else u don’t have an argument. Spiderman made a lot of money and got positive feedback but it was one hell of a shity movie for example

    you have your own opinion ( speed racer is pretty good ), I have mine ( Spiderman 2 is the best superhero movie ever made ) , but there is facts and we can’t deny it , and that’s the critics word , thier jop is to tell you the truth weather you\i like it or not and …

    i remeber watching this while growing up ,it was one of my favourites and the general audience meant for is not 25+ im 15 and i remeber watching that on cartoon network

    hi there.

    well i seen the movie last monday and also i liked the movie basically bcos its a wachoski bro movie. like u said, they didnt play the theme music of speed racer until the race country cross off-track race & talking of kisses, it seems there more than 1 kiss in the movie. the 2nd which u seemed to forget that it came around during the first hour of the movie, in the car ( b4 Speed racer decides to go the Country Cross Race). Anyway it was worth watching the movie, seemed just like younger days. Seeing all the fancy gadgets fitted into the Mach 4.
