99.7 is an FM station – it is supposed to play top 40 music, contemporary music on the *charts* not have some tom, dick or harry take out large chunks of time to play their own ’specialized’ music (i.e. Latino, country etc).

If the idiot DJs dont know what the charts are I refer them to BILLBOARD top 40 or Itunes Top hits etc — it doesnt take a rocket scientist.

The problem with FM 99.7 is not so much the DJ’s, but they lack focus, efficient management, vision, they change their modus operandi every few months or so …

1. Who demanded Latin music for hours on end?
2. Who made that call?
3. Who hired that clown?

Management needs to take responsibility as well. They hire the people, they pick the music, they are responsible.

We need a Virgin radio station here – like they have in the UAE with Western professional DJ’s not ‘kids’ playing around talking crap: trivia, news, etc.

Play music and shut the hell up.

Insert commercial every 10 minutes.

Rinse and repeat.

actually when I was in highschool back in 1995 or 96 I think, I was able to figure out 99.7’s email password. their email i think was fm997@kems.net (or something like that) and their password was station.
