Thats really sad! They want criminals. Even though they would get more money and improvements from these arab companies. This is the way things are in states, they go through phases of who to be prejudice against and now its our turn.

these ppl are just too much…americans should get it in there heads that not all arabs are bin ladens and thawahiris..dubai and the emirates have the largest ports in the world and are run by no other than those companies..these ppl are going to have to lighten up or they’re seriously going down…soon!!

i was listening to the news the other day and what i understood other then Dubai Ports there are around 3 other companies that can handle the port and none of them are American. One is Chinese I thing, another Russian or something etc..

americans are scared of the chinese..the only thing they’re not scared of that has any resemblence to the chinese is “chinese takeout”..as for the russians well we know the whole russian american saga..it’s true the cold war ended years ago but i guess it never really ended did it?!?

They’ve got it wrong. It doesn’t matter who the over-riding administrative company is (from Dubai, China, Russia, US), the criminal element, be it Mafia or other, still controls the ports. It’s the day-to-day, on-site, hands-on grunts and their bosses who are in control - not the white collar/dishdasha types sitting in offices somewhere.

u have a point…but that isnt the subject…it’s the idea that americans dont mind who take control as long as it’s not the arabs..even if it was mafia which is kind of sad once u think that they’d pick the mafia over an arab company..magic word being company

america has always been a fucken joke we just don’t see it…they’re going to have to understand that life does exist outside the borders of the US and that they’re not the only ppl on this planet

Well the american sanity is always in question since the age of the great manipulation (Movies/TV). Like they’ed rather believe what the media tells them than reality.
Politics control all, the people are just dialy life zombies…hope such a thing does happen here where people just want others to think for them.

typo ! I meant “doesn’t happen here”, sorry.

You know what I think is the most ironic about this. As a conservative I see that most of the folk I know on the ‘right’ are actually for the ports deal. It’s mostly the people on the ‘left’, the same people who are supposedly multicultural that are the one’s try to stop it because the company is run by arabs. How sad.
