It was one of the most unorganized concerts I've ever been to. I got the VVIP tickets (100 B.D per ticket), and couldn't find any decent seats and was not able to get anything to drink. The promoter did leave at 1 pm allegedly to pick up Tiesto. We never heard from him again, although the MC (Hanan) was saying that Tiesto was backstage finishing up with reporters, and then went on and told the crowd to "shut up... M***** F******". At around 2, things started going crazy, that was after the MC told us that Tiesto will not show up. I left right after I saw a chair being thrown at the stage. It is said that the promoter is in jail right now and hopefully I will be able to get my 300 B.D. back, although I doubt it. In short, a scam gone wrong, and I doubt that Tiesto had anything to do with it. The promoters made at least 25,000 to 30,000 Bahraini Dinars. I was actually at the concert. Dear fans, I am very sorry for what happened at the Marina Club in Bahrain last Wednesday. Allow me to explain to you what really took place.

The promoter disappeared after 1 a.m. with the DJ fee and the money everybody had paid for their tickets.

I still wanted to play at the party, so I was waiting for somebody to pick me up from the hotel and bring me to the venue. At 2 a.m., still nobody had arrived and we heard that police was already on the way to the venue. At that moment, I had no other choice than to stay in my hotel room.

The promoter tried to escape Bahrain, but luckily he got caught near the Saudi Arabian border. He is in jail at this moment.
