Not only kuwaitis, but the whole world...and his loss was resounded near and far, for what reason and under what assumption can you base that idea. Regardless; i will say that all countries love their ruler and their father figure be it baba jaber or baba zayed. We should stand back and pay that much respect for our neighbours, and that much respect amongst ourselves. it would be wrong for me or anyone else to turn the death of any of our leaders into a popularity contest of any sort. It's sad that remembering the dead is haram... If it's done respectfully I don't know why a loved one can't be thought of, even if they're not around any more.
