There was article on CNN.com today about a family in Saudi Arabia that is taking a genie to court on harassment charges. My question is this, if the family wins, how does the genie pay them? [Link]

    Let’s start a competition.

How many subliminal punchlines and jokes towards Islam can you find from the article writer’s style and phrasing?

The winner gets 3 wishes from the genie!

They should use this as a storyline in Boston Legal.

I do believe in Jin , and that they might harass people in their own houses. and I personally know people who had several incidents . and trust me its not psychological imaginations.

The saudi family simply went to authorities to help them using islamics means in getting the jins out of the house.

“the process of non-thinking, called faith”, (Richard Dawkins).

Belief in the supernatural and make-beleif, is paramount to all faiths (not only Abrahamic faiths).

I love how they decided to use the term ‘genie’ and not ‘ghost’ or ‘spirit’ which would have been more common in the western world and would have been seen as less crazy.

It contains a very long discussion thread, where opinion is split 50/50.

Did it ever cross their minds it could be a human being throwing stones and harassing them? >_>

@toni I am quite educated thank you very much, and do not need to look up the term as I understand it’s meaning. I suggest you re-read my comment to help you better understand my point instead of spewing out condescending crap.

The fact that a court has even accepted to hear their case and a local charity has moved them to another location to protect them from further harassment from this evil jinn just adds insult to injury.
