2 More Movies
I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Collateral yesterday. I really didn’t like Eternal Sunshine and I don’t understand how it was rated one of the best movies ever on IMDB. The movie just dragged too long and some of it was really cheesy. Collateral on the other hand was a really good movie. Tom Cruise was really great, I think this is one of his best roles ever, it really suited him. Jamie Foxx was also really cool, I still remember him from the days of In Living Color so its hard for me to accept he doesn’t have to be funny all the time, but in general I think he’s aged like some good old wine. He just keeps getting better.

You didn’t like Enternal Sunshine? Wow. I Thought it was great. I like Jim Carey’s more serious roles.

Funny, i had the exact opposite reaction. Eternal Sunshine is fantastic if you try to understand it. It’s not all digested for us like Collateral and most Hollywood movies. Jim Carrey was great, much better than in his clown movies. And Tom Cruise a great actor?? Give me a break dude. Jamie Foxx was great, Tom Cruise was mediocre at best. Too bad we don’t get indy movies in Kuwait. Too much crap Hollywood blockbuster movies.

I did understand Eternal Sunshine but there was nothing fantastic about it. I have watched way more interesting and undigested movies then this. It just dragged too long in the middle which I believe killed it the most for me and some scenes looked like they belonged on the Pee Wee Hermen show.
I generally don’t like Tom Cruise that much but I think he was really great in Collateral. I hate it when he plays roles where he seems to be on upppers the whole time. Quiet and violent suits him the best.
You can get any movie you want in Kuwait btw. Order them off Amazon using Aramex Shop&Ship.
