Alpinestars Stroke Shoes

Today I finally have my first biking lesson. It really sucks having a bike and not being able to ride it and now I can’t wait till I finally get my license. Since I am going to the lesson right after work I have my helmet, gloves and jacket in the car. I am also wearing my biking boots which are the Alpinestars Stroke shoes. They are pretty cool and they don’t look half bad either. They also make me feel like a biker even though I still don’t know how to ride a bike which is pretty lame.
The weather is getting really better really quickly. I can’t wait till Ramadan starts since the roads would get deserted at around 5:30pm which would be perfect for a newbie biker since I can fuck up and not have to worry about getting run over.

Mark, Your are doing a wonderful job with the blog it is really interesting and informative. I’m new to the blog and would love to read more. Meanwhile all the best for your classes and take care. Safety comes first… for the last couple of months the bike thing has hit me so hard, I’m really crazy about it. Somehow managed to get the learner’s license and I was not able to appear for the test as I didnt have a bike, so if you could help me suggest some places or where to look for a good decent used bike. Thank you so much…and keep up the spirit. :)

Congrats on the bike.
But the shoes, I have to say are ugly as I see ‘em.
Enjoy the rides.

Mark an hour or two before futoor is the best time to ride, just be EXTREMELY careful for the people flying to get home for futoor, many near misses last ramdhan on the bikes.

actually the best time is after futoor, so if futoor starts at 5, 5:30 the roads are deserted.

Yeah if you want to ride alone, but i guess if your a beginner it might be a good idea
